Common questions

Every board can be solved from what you can see, and every board is checked to be solvable before you see it. Tap Hint and it lights a tile whose path is clear right now. The first hint on each board is free; after that it uses a compass, which you can buy with coins in Supplies.

The number on a cracked tile counts down by one every time any tile leaves the board, not just when you touch that one. Clear the tiles blocking its path first, and save the rest of the board for afterwards.

A timed vault collapses when the clock runs out, and the coins in your bag are lost with it. Relic fragments always survive, so collection progress is never at risk. A rope, bought with coins in Supplies, saves the coins once.

A safe vault costs 2 energy and a risky one 4. The bar holds 30 and refills one point every ten minutes. In Supplies, Rest gives 8 energy for free once an hour, and 10 gems refill the whole bar at once.

Energy refills - that is all. Tools (compass, pickaxe, rope) and the trader's relic fragments are bought with coins you win in vaults. Gem packs and the one-time Starter Pack are in Supplies, each showing the App Store's own price before you tap.

Purchases are delivered when the App Store confirms them, and an interrupted purchase is delivered the next time you open the game. For the Starter Pack, tap Restore purchases in the game's Settings. Gem packs are used up on delivery and cannot be restored, so if gems you paid for never arrived, email us with the date of the purchase.

Payments are taken by Apple, so refunds are too: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple Account you paid with. We never see your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves.

That is deliberate. Boards adapt to how you are doing, on your iPhone, giving more room when you are struggling and less when you are not. See or override it under Settings, Difficulty: Relaxed, Normal or Expert. Levels and rewards never change.

If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is copied to your own iCloud account. Open Settings in the game and tap Restore from iCloud. The save with more completed puzzles always wins, so syncing never costs progress. Without iCloud the save lived only on that iPhone and cannot be recovered - there is no account and no server of ours. Coins still in your bag from an unfinished expedition are not synced until the expedition ends.

The game respects the silent switch. In the game's Settings, Sound effects, Ambience and Music can each be turned off separately.

No. Every level is generated and verified on your iPhone, and the game works offline. Only purchases and iCloud syncing need a connection. Optional notifications (energy full, trader restocked, streak reminder) are scheduled on the phone, not sent from a server.

How to write a bug report that gets fixed

Three things make a bug fixable: what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Write those three lines and you are ahead of most professional QA.

Add your device model and iOS version — Settings, General, About — and a screenshot or screen recording if the bug is visible. A recording of a crash is worth five paragraphs describing one.

One report per email, please. Two bugs in one email means the second one gets lost, and it deserves better.
